for children fighting cancer |
"Dear Rabbi Sensei Moskowitz,
I want to thank you for all that you are doing to help my son. Justin, as you know is not only a cancer survivor but also a victim of blindness. He has faced many bullies through his life, cancer being the biggest and blindness being the meanest, but standing up to school bullies had to have been the hardest. Justin always wanted to take martial arts as a little boy but I had no idea of the extent that it meant to him, nor could I afford the very expensive classes, if indeed anyone would even take the time to work with a legally blind child that is!
I can't help but to think of the mothers out there just unaware of your program and those poor defenseless children with disabilities who desperately need your help. I hope for their sake we can spread the word to whoever will listen.
I have seen your expertise benefit a variety of individuals. I know it works!
Thank you!"

"Dear Rabbi Sensei Moskowitz,
As a female and single mother of two I have faced many battles, but the most humiliating was being a victim of domestic violence, not once but three times. I thank GOD that I am able to share this story with you today as my fate could have been fatal…still I must say I wish to have been your student long before I encountered those three mistakes. Ever since having the privilege to be a part of your self-defense Martial Arts Therapy class my confidence has grown stronger both mentally and physically. I hope to cultivate your techniques so that I can encourage other women who are victims of domestic violence to attain self-respect and empowerment as I have.
Thank you."
"Dear Sensei,
Hello, my name is Stephanie Formoso and I am sixteen years old and I have cerebral palsy. Since I started the Martial Arts Therapy classes I learned a lot of techniques that can help me now and in the future. Not only did I learn how to fight for myself, I learned lots of techniques such as breathing, relaxing, and yoga. This therapy helps me learn a lot about my body. I learned that everybody has ability even though you have a disability. I am thankful for Gary for having the idea of having this kind of therapy that I would have never thought would be possible. He is a great man for having this kind of therapy for free just to help others and he is such an inspiration. So I thank him very much."

"Dear Rabbi Sensei Gary Moskowitz,
Hello, my name is Norma Formoso and I am the mother of a sixteen year old with cerebral palsy. I have noticed that since she and I started this Martial Arts Therapy, she has strengthened more of her muscles and has learned how to defend herself in many difficult situations. I love that she enjoys it and she feels that she can do a lot of things that she didn't know she could do. I want to thank Gary with all my heart for doing this and donating his time to all these kids. Thanks Gary!"
